Summer Sunflowers

Hello lovelies, Today is not so sunny… that was a fab we week we had. Friday past was the last day of the Carginagh Sunflower Fields, so I had to ensure I got to see them and they were so pretty. Abby had already been when they first opened and said how beautiful it was. Being there before did not stop her coming with me. Lol. Abby, Kai and I headed on our little sunflower adventure. If was busy on Friday evening and we got talking to people for all parts of the country. It really drew crowds to our local area and with entrance into the field’s being donations in aid of Southern Area Hospice and Christ Church Kilkeel, it made it even more wholesome. With the strong heat last week the sunflowers had started to die but any in the centre of the fields were still beautiful and yellow. It was a fun evening with Kai, weaving in and out of the sunflower paths and enjoying the beauty of our local area. Of course we got plenty of photos from our sunflower field adventures and we hope that this will happen again next year as it was truly magical.

Love T x
